1. About AjoMoney

AjoMoney (ajomoney.ng) is an online savings group management platform. We provide tools that allow groups of people to organise, track, and manage rotating or accumulation savings circles (commonly known as Ajo, Esusu, Susu, or Adashi). AjoMoney is a technology platform only — we are not a bank, financial institution, payment processor, or investment service.

2. Eligibility

To use AjoMoney you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Not be prohibited from using the platform under applicable law

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at info@ajomoney.ng if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. AjoMoney is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

4. How the Platform Works

AjoMoney enables group admins to create savings groups, invite members, and track contributions and payouts. The platform records who has paid, who is owed a payout, and maintains a transparent ledger visible to all group members. All financial transactions occur directly between members outside of AjoMoney. We do not hold, receive, transfer, or control any money at any time.

5. Member Responsibilities

As a group member you agree to:

• Make your contributions on time as agreed within your group
• Upload accurate and genuine proof of payment
• Not upload fraudulent or false payment evidence
• Conduct yourself respectfully toward other members
• Honour the terms agreed upon when joining the group

6. No Financial Liability

AjoMoney is a record-keeping and tracking tool only. We are not a party to any financial transaction between users. We do not guarantee that:

• Any member will make their contributions
• Any admin will disburse funds correctly
• Any payout will be received by the intended recipient
• Any group will complete its cycle

Any financial loss suffered as a result of participating in a savings group on our platform is solely between the members of that group. AjoMoney accepts no liability for such losses under any circumstances.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use AjoMoney to:

• Commit fraud or deceive other users
• Create fake groups or impersonate other individuals
• Upload false payment evidence
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Use the platform for money laundering or any illegal activity
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the platform

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
